The Planet Sciences Laboratory is a part of the Seattle Central College Science and Math Department. It is comprised of an 1,800 square foot greenhouse and approximately 7,000 square feet of landscape area. Within this space thrives a sustainable ecosystem encompassing a rich and diverse plant collection, and environmentally sensitive structures for student coursework.

The PSL therefore opens up a new world of study, ideas, and ways of looking at our natural environment to the students and the surrounding community.

Plant Sciences Laboratory Mission Statement

Sowing Knowledge: Providing knowledge and know-how of interconnectedness and sustainable conventions

Cultivating Empowerment: A foundation of empowerment for college and community
